December 19, 2009- As one of the biggest snow storms ever for the month of December moved into Maryland, Westminster Fire Department prepared for the worst with 2 crews of volunteers staffing the equipment. In the early morning of December 19th, the Westminster Fire Dept. was alerted for a Vehicle Collison with Rescue (VCR).
Santa will be visiting Westminster this month! Below are the scheduled evenings between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

November 16th, 2009. As crews from Engine 32 and Rescue Squad 9 were preparing for a dinner together at station 3, the events were interrupted for a vehicle collision on Uniontown Road at Royer Road. Both the engine and squad went en route with Medic 37. While on the way, communications advised that city police were on the scene with 1 overturned and a patient trapped. The units arrived to find an SUV vs car with 1 patient still inside the SUV, and unable to move. The crew from E32 began to stabilize the vehicle and assist with patient care while the crew from RS9 completed the extrication. |

November 15th 2009. Station 3 was alerted for an auto fire in "The Greens". Engine 32 arrived to find an auto with fire showing from the engine compartment. Crews extinguished the fire without further incident. |
