New Addition Inside the Station...
   Station 3 recently took delivery of a new kitchen table designed and constructed by members of the WFD. The table is 12'x4' and can comfortably seat 12-14 people. It has become very aesthetically pleasing addition to the kitchen area and will be around for several years to come.

Rescue on Stone Road...

 

May 5th, 2010.  At around noon, units from Pleasant Valley and Westminster responded to the 900 block of Stone Road for a vehicle collision with entrapment. Medic 38, Medic 39 and Engine 32 responded to assist. Medic 38 transported the driver of the first vehicle while Engine 32's crew assisted RS6 with the extrication of the driver of the second vehicle. Once the extrication was complete, Medic 39 transported the driver of that vehicle.

Engine and Tower on Silver Run House Fire...

April 29th, 2010.

             Shortly before 6pm, units were alerted for an attic fire in the 3900 block of Littlestown Pike. Engine 63 arrived to find a large 3 story house that had been broken down in to 5 apartments with smoke showing from the 3rd floor and roof. Engine 32 arrived, stretched a backup line and met with the crew of Engine 63 on the 3rd floor to assist with extinguishment and overhaul. Tower 3's crew placed ground ladders and assisted with ventilation. Crews found fire in a bedroom and attic area. Units from station 3 were in service within an hour.

During the incident, Engine 33 transferred to station 6, and Engine 101 filled station 3.

Friday Night Rescue with 3 to Shock Trauma
April 16, 2010 @ 2023 Hours-Westminster Fire Dept. was alerted for a vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 140 and Gorsuch Road. units responded and were updated that there was possibly 2 people trapped at location.
